The Vacaville Veterans have hosted the FREE Holiday Dinners at the Veterans Memorial Building for over 30 years. Each year we serve about 800 meals either at the hall or through deliveries and take-outs on both Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve days. Over 150 people volunteer to prepare and serve meals, greet guests, serve desserts, package take outs and deliver meals, wash dishes and mop floors for each dinner. Each year the community helps us out by donating turkeys, hams, desserts, rolls and cash to supplement what the veterans provide for the dinners.
